The HS underwater acoustic modems with an omnidirectional transducer beam pattern are high-speed devices for effective transmissions in reverberant shallow waters, providing data transfer rates of up to 62.5 kbps for short-range transmissions over 300 m range.

The beam pattern is optimal for horizontal transfers.
